California concealed carry gunman is shot by an axe-wielding thief on his property

In the northwestern region of the central valley in California claim that an ax-wielding suspect was killed after allegedly attacking the property owner with the permit to carry concealed.

Merced County Sheriff's Department says the officers were notified Tuesday night of an incident that took that took place in the town of Dos Palos, California.

While on the way to the scene of the incident the deputies were informed via dispatch that the shooter was a legally authorized CCW owner who fired at the adult male in self-defense.

The scene was attended to by police and discovered the suspect, who was named Luis Larios, suffered a shot wound that was not thought to pose a threat to life.

The Facebook post states that the deputy Machado gave a tourniquet to Larios while waiting until an ambulance arrived.
